I was very honoured to be asked to photograph the event Eritrea On A Plate. It was an incredible evening of food, culture and music at Eleto Chocolate Cafe, Folkestone, put together by Helen Finn and Senet Yohannes at YoYo's, and Aida Silvestri!
As well some truly delicious food, DJ Andre played a stunning mix of African and African influenced music, before the evening was brought to a finale by Sennet and Aida introducing the packed house of 40 to the Eritrean coffee ceremony! The coffee was also delicious, flavoured with ginger and sugar.
A beautiful evening, I had a great time taking photos and capturing this moment. I now have a new favourite food, Eritrean spiced lentils, and a new favourite artist, The Spy From Cairo. A massive thank you and congratulations to all involved, count me in for the next one! Here are just a few of the photos I took.
A final big thank you goes to my girlfriend for helping me find a new replacement camera!

Today’s door celebrates the majesty and beauty of nature! I took this picture of the white cliffs in St Margarets at Cliffe back in the Summer, it was so sunny and warm then!
Today’s door is another photograph! It is a picture of the amazing Mount Ararat.
It almost ironic that a lback and white cpature can sometimes capture more life and detail than one in full colour.
