It’s day 16 of the Advent Calendar! As we all take in the events of the week, today’s door is an excerpt from another as yet published poem. A bit of a Bob Dylan moment, it may well get an airing at this Thursdays Poet’s Corner event at Eleto. Positive change cannot come from extremes, only from a connected centre.
“In every time however
We cannot forget our power
As we use it in our society
This shared collective endeavour
You are strong not weak
You can be wild not just meak
You are deep like the valley
And tall like the mountain peak”
Christmas is creeping closer! Today’s excerpt is from a poem on about that most special journey.
Today’s door celebrates the majesty and beauty of nature! I took this picture of the white cliffs in St Margarets at Cliffe back in the Summer, it was so sunny and warm then!
For today’s Advent Calendar door I wanted to share an artist I discovered this year that I have fallen in love with!
Time to cheer up a bit, life and the world are beautiful!
As we all take in the events of the week, today’s door is an excerpt from another as yet published poem.
I am writing this before the election so I hope today is a reason to celebrate and feel a sense of existential crisis.
It is a big day today, a choice not to be made lightly. Our choices today will define our future in very serious ways.
Today’s door is another photograph! It is a picture of the amazing Mount Ararat.
Welcome to the final door of the Advent Calendar! Doors 20 - 23 didn’t quite happen but 24 is the one that matters. Although sadly in this calendar there isn’t an extra large chocolate.
