Rambling Ridiculous Riddles

The loudest songs are silent
The kindest words
Can be the most violent
The one always moving
Is often the most steady

The quietest soul
Can have the
Most to say
The strongest warrior
Has no weapon to lay

The most determined hunter
Finds nothing
Nothing they
Did not
Already have

Knowledge comes from listening
The greatest gift
Is not the lyrics
But being shown
How to sing

Is a way of thinking
Concrete facts the rocks
That lead a self
To sinking

In a way
It is the riddle
Which has
The most
To say

It’s always been about the journey, though we insist on focusing on the goal. Hmm… I’m sure there is a lesson in there somewhere; it has that feel about it. Lol!

Indeed “it is the riddle which has the most to say”. Or so I believe…

Clever poem, David! Love the wordplay, the balance of opposites, and the truths that can only truly be appreciated in the dynamic space between them. Well done!
